The Marketing Manager is responsible for profit/financial performance for specified market and utilizes knowledge of business economics (pricing, cost, production, leverage points) and product portfolio (specification, differentiation, production processes, manufacturing plants/assets) to grow specified market.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Responsible for independently leading the development of a strategy for a specified market to include responsibility for product portfolio and customer pipeline
- Utilize Consumer Insight and Retailer trends and challenges to define market space positioning
- Work independently utilizing subject matter expertise and capabilities to manage complex processes and market spaces
- Ability to independently recognize customer and market needs and challenges and how they impact defined market space
- Co-lead, support, and execute consistent value-added customer interactions
- Provide leadership to managers, may also provide leadership to supervisors and/or professional staff
- Commercial and Operational P&L Leadership. Examples of this would be:
- The role’s responsibility for setting the annual operating plan for designated market in collaboration with Sales and Operations
- Commercial Leadership of assigned Plant Profit Team
- Travel ~30%

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
- A four year college degree or equivalent experience with an emphasis on marketing, economics, business administration, finance, or engineering preferred
- 5 - 10 years of Commercial experience with individual scope and responsibility determined by experience prior to role and continued growth within role
- Preferred: Flexible Packaging or similar industry experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
- SAP experience preferred
