The Role

Cofactr is on a mission to empower those who get the critical work done. The Role

The Marketing Manager is the subject matter expert for all things Cofactr and shoulders the responsibility of ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across multiple teams and campaigns. Their primary responsibility is communicating our brand and product’s value to the market. This involves teamwork and consensus building across key stakeholders and functions, including Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success. Additional responsibilities include creating marketing materials communicating Cofactr’s brand message and product features and developing marketing tools and campaigns to attract new users and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Be a Cofactr brand and product subject matter expert
  • Create, execute, and report on market strategies for Cofactr
  • Create, execute, and report on campaigns that drive awareness and leads for the Cofactr platform
  • Develop messaging and positioning for Cofactr and ensure a cohesive messaging strategy across all teams
  • Set and report on channel-specific goals and KPIs
  • Design, build, and maintain content on Cofactr.com that educates and drives awareness about Cofactr
  • Own specific marketing channels as designated by the head of marketing, which may include but are not limited to social media, paid media, content, events, website & SEO, and email.
  • Forecasting and budgeting annually for Marketing initiatives
  • Work closely with sales and customer success teams to educate them about the brand and messaging and craft sales enablement collateral to support those initiatives
  • Work closely with the product, product marketing, and engineering team to collaborate on product messaging and market positioning
  • Work with the Marketing team to collaboratively set and meet annual OKRs and track campaign metrics, ensuring ROI for ad spend.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of Marketing experience
  • Experience working for companies in the electronics, hardware, or manufacturing industries
  • Experience with marketing automation tools such as Salesforce, SEMRush, Google Ads, and Google Analytics. (Figma and Webflow and plus)
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Basic working knowledge of internal tools like Google Drive, Slack, Notion, etc.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the larger marketing team to collaborate on campaigns and messaging, maintaining a consistent brand voice across all channels.
  • Work closely with larger marketing and go-to-market teams to build the go-to-marketing strategy for the company.
  • Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to guide lead gen and awareness strategies based on customer personas and product fit in the market.
  • Create content strategy and content for external audiences that drives awareness about the the brand and platform.
  • Regularly conduct market analysis to understand the needs of the ICP.
  • Regularly track campaign metrics and report back to stakeholders on ROI.
  • Help drive customer awareness and adoption of the platform tools with campaigns in conjunction with Product Marketing.
  • Work with the customer success team to help build marketing campaigns and messaging to support existing customer and customer retention efforts.
