POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager will lead the strategy and execution of brand storytelling and marketing across Thrive's amenity brands: The Little Grand, Bada Bean Bada Booze, The Athletic Cos., and Thrive Events. While part of the larger Thrive ecosystem, each of these brands operates as its own revenue-driving business within Thrive's communities. This position is responsible for driving that revenue through compelling marketing, while ensuring a consistent and compelling Thrive brand presence across every touchpoint.
Working in close, daily partnership with cross-functional leadership, the Marketing Manager will translate each vertical's business goals into marketing strategies that drive revenue, memberships, and event sales alongside community engagement. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with creative instinct and has experience marketing hospitality, wellness, or experiential/events brands.
REPORTS TO: VP of Brand & Marketing
RESPONSIBILITIES, EXPECTATIONS, AND DUTIES
- Serve as the primary marketing partner to Thrive amenity brands, driving revenue-focused campaigns and promotions that serve the larger business objectives and align with operational realities.
- Create campaigns that deliver to key revenue targets and promote private event space bookings, supporting attendance and revenue goals.
- Partner with cross-functional marketing partners to keep brand voice and campaign strategy consistent between residential and amenity-brand marketing & cross-promote relevant events to ensure communities look & feel vibrant & residents feel a sense of belonging
- Brief, guide, and approve content in partnership with the social media and creative teams, setting campaign KPIs, creative direction, and evaluating performance for each amenity brand.
- Write comprehensive creative briefs and direct the creative team on F&B, wellness, and events campaigns from concept through execution.
- Support new location openings and launches (new Little Grand or Bada locations, Athletic gyms, major events) with go-to-market strategy, including local PR coordination.
- Own marketing budgets through managing spend, tracking ROI, and reporting results to leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- 4–6 years of marketing experience, ideally spanning hospitality, food & beverage, fitness/wellness, or experiential/events marketing.
- Proven ability to manage marketing for multiple distinct brands or business lines at once, each with its own voice and commercial goals.
- Experience marketing food & beverage, fitness/wellness, or lifestyle brands is a strong plus.
- Skilled at managing cross-functional and external partner relationships — comfortable serving as the connective tissue between operators and a central brand team.
- A natural creative who can write a brief, shape a concept, and recognize great work.
- Comfortable building and presenting KPI frameworks and campaign performance reports.
- Familiar with traditional and digital marketing tactics, customer segmentation, experiential marketing and content platforms; experience with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) a plus.
- Comfortable spending meaningful time on-site across F&B, wellness, and event venues — not a purely desk-based role.

Skills Required
