The Role

Marketing Lead

Whippy is leading the way in AI-powered business communication, transforming how companies engage with customers using intelligent AI Agents. From customer support to marketing to sales, businesses rely on Whippy’s Voice AI and Chat AI to eliminate manual workflows—responding to inquiries, nurturing leads, screening job applicants, and automating high-value interactions at scale. By combining AI-driven messaging with omni-channel automation, Whippy replaces outdated tools with a single, powerful platform that helps businesses work smarter, faster, and more efficiently.

We’re looking for a Marketing Lead to own our brand, messaging, and go-to-market strategy. You’ll be Whippy’s first marketing hire—working directly with the founders and sales team to shape how the world experiences Whippy. This is a hands-on, full-stack marketing role for someone who loves building from 0 to 1.

⚡ What you'll do

  • Positioning & Storytelling – Define and evolve Whippy’s brand messaging. Shape how we tell our story on the website, in sales conversations, and across the market.
  • Product & Lifecycle Marketing – Lead product launches and drive targeted email campaigns (outbound, lifecycle, announcements) that convert.
  • Sales Enablement – Create case studies, pitch decks, one-pagers, and industry-specific collateral that shorten deal cycles and drive revenue.
  • Events & Webinars – Run marketing efforts around webinars, virtual events, and trade shows—including strategy, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Content & Social – Grow our brand presence through organic content distribution (LinkedIn, X, industry blogs) and strategic thought leadership.

🎯 What we're looking for

  • 2–4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally at a fast-moving startup
  • A strong writer and communicator who can translate technical features into clear customer value
  • Comfortable building a strategy and executing it yourself
  • Collaborative across Product, Sales, and Leadership
  • Data-driven, with experience using tools like HubSpot, Webflow, Apollo, or similar

🙌 What we offer

  • Base Salary: $100k-$130k/ year based on experience
  • Variable Bonus: $20k-$30k/year based on KPIs tied to pipeline influence, content delivery, etc
  • Equity: Meaningful stock options in a fast-growing, bootstrapped company
  • Work directly with founders who’ve built companies valued at $100M+
  • High autonomy, fast execution, and a clear path to Head of Marketing

🌎 Where you'll work

This role is remote. Bonus if you’re able to work hybrid from our office in Los Angeles, CA.
