The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets. Responsibilities:

  • To assist project managers in devising and implementing buyer incentive programmes for local trade fairs
  • To coordinate with overseas branch offices, consultants and agents in buyer-related matters such as promotional exercises, visit programme in the fair, visa applications and business matching requirements etc.
  • To liaise with local service providers and collaborative entities for offering value-added services to trade fair buyers
  • To handle database update and maintenance
  • To perform on-site duties for various promotional activities including reception of buying missions, provision of on-site customer service and management of buyer services counters
  • To provide support for the visitor promotion team in the logistical arrangement of payments, purchases, storage and stock-taking etc.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with a minimum 1-year's relevant working experience in marketing
  • Good written and spoken English and Chinese.   Fluent Putonghua
  • Proficient in MS Office including Chinese word-processing and Excel
  • Good interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality, outgoing, customer-oriented, meticulous and can work as a team
  • Willing to work overtime and occasionally on weekends or public holidays

 

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.

Skills Required
