The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is a statutory body established in 1966 to promote, assist and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 51 offices globally, including 13 in the Chinese Mainland, the HKTDC promotes Hong Kong as a two-way global investment and business hub.

The HKTDC organises international exhibitions, conferences and business missions to create business opportunities for companies, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the mainland and international markets.      Responsibilities:

  • Support the Marketing Manager in executing buyer retention campaigns, promoting HKTDC’s B2B sourcing platform at trade fairs and related events. 
  • Managing VIP buyer engagement and maintain a VIP buyer pool from daily enquiries; identify quality buyers for upcoming trade fairs.
  • Provide tailored sourcing support and supplier recommendations to VIP buyers; build loyalty through proactive engagement.
  • Assist in planning and executing retention campaigns to boost buyer activity and platform engagement. 
  • Create marketing materials (e.g. emails/EDMs, leaflets, social media content) to engage buyers and drive sourcing and fair participation.
  • Analyse campaign performance and prepare regular reports.
  • Support trade fair logistics, on-site setup, and promotion of the sourcing platform.
  • Train and manage promoters to deliver effective on-site services.
  • Assist with buyer behaviour surveys, including design, promotion, analysis, and reporting. 
  • Handle administrative tasks such as issuing POs, processing payments, and responding to enquiries.

 

   Requirements:

  • University graduate, preferably in Marketing, e-Commerce or related disciplines. 
  • 3 years’ experience in B2B marketing; CRM experience in online marketplaces preferred.  
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; fluent in Putonghua.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

 

Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, will be offered.
