This position is responsible for creating and distributing all organic content and internal marketing collateral; managing social media channels; and publishing web page content and public relations / external communications for Caesars Virginia.  

Responsibilities
  • Leads property social media content collection, including producing, editing, and distributing across multiple platforms to grow audiences, awareness, and engagement.  

  • Generates content that builds meaningful connections between our brand and our guests.  

  • Collaborates with other departments and key players to produce and execute content.  

  • Uses social media tools such as Sprout Social, CapCut, and Canva.  

  • Moderates social media pages in line with Caesars Entertainment’s expectations and policies.  

  • Creates and executes public relations campaigns that will generate positive coverage for Caesars Virginia.  

  • Coordinates and leads familiarization visits from writers, editors, bloggers, influencers, and other media professionals.  

  • Responds promptly and professionally to incoming requests for photography, video and general resort information.  

  • Assists the General Manager and other leaders in formulating responses to media inquiries and addressing any emergencies.  

  • Travels to media outlets in target markets, as needed, to pitch story ideas and generate media coverage.  

  • Manages and grows an up-to-date list of travel media professionals, bloggers and other influential contacts.  

  • Manages the organization's official media kit, including both in-print and online.  

  • Maintains regular positive contact with members of the local media, tourism organizations, community leaders and other influential organizations.  

  • Assists the marketing department with copywriting, advertorial content and proofing.  

  • Assists with a variety of internal communication pieces as needed, including writing and editing company newsletters, memos, and email announcements.  

  • Thinks quickly and communicates clearly in high-pressure and quick-changing situations.  

  • Stays up to date with social media best practices, trends, and algorithm changes.  

  • Executes research related to social media platform updates; identifies key findings and presents recommendations.  

  • Delivers work on or before deadline.  

  • Covers events and activations as needed.  

  • Must have a positive attitude and flexibility to work with several departments and personalities at all levels of the organization.  

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred.  

  • Previous casino experience a plus.  

  • Candidate should be self-motivated; detail orientated and prioritize multiple tasks.  

  • Excellent written skills with the ability to adapt and represent a variety of brand voices.  

  • Other desired skills include time management skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills.  

  • Experience managing online communities and/or platforms for brands.  

  • Adobe Photoshop and Canva experience is a plus.  

  • Must be at least 21 years of age 

Salary: $50,000-$60,000 per year

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.  

  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.  

  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.  

  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.  

  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino.  

  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest and employee conflicts.  

  • Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.  

  • Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.  

Skills Required
