POSITION SUMMARY


The Marketing & Communications Executive is an integral part of the Sales & Marketing team and is responsible for creating and executing property-level communications to our customers. Under the leadership of the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role promotes on-brand messaging to customers through traditional, digital, and social media channels all with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel. 

This role helps build direct marketing plans, targeted campaigns, and activated channels with the goal of driving consumer awareness and preference, increasing market share, and building broader portfolio and brand awareness. This role also focuses on showcasing Food and Beverage activations, both to hotel guests and to local patrons.  The role entails balancing traditional and digital marketing, eCommerce activities as well as public relations (PR) activities for the hotel.

Requirements for the role

  • In possession of a Degree from the University of Malta in Marketing and/or Communications
  • Fluency in English language both written and verbal is required. Fluency in other languages is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills together with great attention to detail
  • Superior analytical skills required
  • Experience in the use of Graphics Software such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign will be considered an asset
  • Experience in a hotel marketing environment is considered an asset
  • Travel Industry experience a plus.
