The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Clinical Education, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Global Product Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Contracts, Customer Service, and Technical Service. This is a hybrid position, and the selected candidate will be required to work onsite in the Lake Zurich, Illinois office 3 days a week.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

- Responsible for managing the commercial success of the ancillary product portfolio in the U.S.
- Develop and master an understanding of the product portfolio including current and future market trends, new to market products and product enhancements, and competitors.
- Actively champion products throughout entire lifecycle (feasibility, development, commercialization, and post-commercialization) to ensure customer requirements are met and target sales and gross profit objectives are achieved.
- Create and own go-to-market strategies for new product launches and product line extensions. Lead the commercial launch execution including the development of brand positioning, pricing strategy, and forecasts. Support the Sales team via training, positioning, implementation, and sales tools as needed or requested.
- Work closely with Sales management to develop sales programs and reference accounts.
- Conduct continuous surveillance of the environmental landscape to assess and make recommendations for future product or service needs to help achieve business goals.
- Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and supply chain, to ensure accurate and timely forecasting for product portfolio. Includes monthly analysis of key variances and market drivers to help improve forecast demand accuracy.
- Develop and execute pricing strategies to help maximize portfolio sales and gross profit.
- Work in collaboration with Global Product Management and R&D to prioritize and make go/no go decisions on new product development and sustaining engineering projects as well as assess the market potential for creative product enhancements that augment our competitive advantage.
- Support quarterly Financial Forecast and annual Mid-Term Strategy process by assessing the market and competitive landscape, business opportunities, and product portfolio initiatives.
- Support and execute branding and marketing communications activities at the business and product levels, including industry partnerships, conferences, collateral development, advertising, websites, and customer portals.
- Identify and resolve emerging issues that may impact project, department, or corporate goals. Recognize potential threats to success and elevate issues to senior management. Propose solutions, resolve conflicts within cross functional teams when possible and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Review product allocation requirements, as needed, to prioritize critical customer needs and optimize distribution of available inventory.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years’ experience managing a product portfolio with P&L oversight required.
- 3 years of experience in the medical device industry preferred.
- Experience in blood collection and transfusion and/or source plasma collection industry a plus.
- Comfortable knowledge in the following areas: marketing at various stages of life cycle management, sales, contracting, commercial finance, business development, marketing communications and project/portfolio management.
- Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills required.
- Ability to identify opportunities, think creatively, and develop innovative solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously through effective prioritization, organization, and time management.
