About the Role:
The Market Planning Manager/Director for Platforms is responsible to strengthening customer engagement, improving market confidence and accelerate adoption of the Platforms proposition across APAC, primarily by acting as the local commercial leader for this business line and by working closely alongside key stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Product, Professional Services, Marketing). Whilst primarily focused on APAC, the role will also identify and drive global initiatives that support sustainable revenue growth, customer satisfaction and retention.
The successful candidate requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, customer advocacy and commercial leadership to address market dynamics and unlock future growth opportunities. They will be comfortable presenting at events, being in client meetings with senior stakeholders and they will have a blend of strategic, operational and domain expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and drive key regional / global initiatives within the platforms space to maintain our competitive position, drive incremental growth and customer satisfaction. Determine the best approach to do this whilst being cognisant of the wider operational impacts in terms of implementation and support.
- With a particular focus on APAC:
- Obtain feedback from customers, sales, professional services and support on platform performance, customer outcomes and enhancement opportunities, translating insights into initiatives that improve satisfaction, retention and growth.
- Develop and coordinate cross-sell and upsell campaigns for Sales to maximise revenue.
- Leverage business performance metrics to identify and successfully execute new initiatives that will drive customer satisfaction and overall revenues.
- Assist, when appropriate, on new business opportunities, pricing approvals and deal reviews.
- Keep up to date with market trends, regulation, the competitive landscape, and business performance metrics to inform regional strategy.
- Participate in and create thought leadership activities and tasks including blog posts, customer events, conferences, and tradeshows including internal LNRS meetings with Sales and Senior LNRS Leadership.
- If required, drive new initiatives through the GTM process, provide support to internal stakeholders and assist Sales on customer calls.
- Ensure key stakeholders are kept informed.
- Assist as needed on the broader Platforms strategy.
Requirements:
- Proven customer-interaction and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to quickly understand complex propositions and translate market, customer and commercial insights into actionable initiatives.
- Knowledge and prior experience of working in a Platforms type business a plus, but not essential.
- Highly motivated - able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptable as the business is continuously evolving.
- Strong PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a matrixed organization.
- 5+ years direct client experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) a plus.
- Travel may be required
