Job Description:
You as a Market Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt. You will be planning and ensuring execution of Business Unit and Product Group sales strategy for assigned area, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products and services in a profitable way. Oversee project execution management in the assigned area. Responsible for leading and developing and coaching the Sales, Tendering and Project Management organization proactively, to exceed the sales targets through high performance to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities:
- Creating, planning and implementing sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with global sales strategy. Provide input to Business Units, Product Groups and Hub BU strategy. Achieves sales performance targets in respect of both budgets and sales, project execution efficiency, including profit and lost in assigned area. Volume and profit Selling products/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units.
- Establishing sales targets and ensures sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
- Identifying opportunities at existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area and determines plans for acquisition and allocates resources.
- Coordinating the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluates data to ensure achievement of goals. Monitors and provides reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence.
- Supporting the development of strong relationships with key customers. Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision makers. Ensures efficient marketing communications.
- Ensuring achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price for sales and proper control the project execution costs and operation costs to ensure profitability. Participates on negotiations of key contracts. Ensures agreement/alignment with supply factories on contract terms and conditions. Ensures positive cash flow through proper contract negotiation with customers and smooth execution/collection.
- Monitoring client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Identifies and manages potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels. Ensures on-time cash collection as per contract.
- Taking ownership of the sales and tendering processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs. Ensures integrity and trade compliant in sales and tendering activities.
- Ensuring the execution of the projects in the assigned area according to agreed terms and conditions of the contracts in terms of schedule, quality, customer satisfaction, cost management and on-time cash collection through smooth and tight communication with supply factories and customers during project execution of not only contracts signed by the Local BU, but also direct supply contracts signed by factories with customers. Ensure proper implementation of CCRP tool. Ensures safety and integrity during project execution.
- Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaches, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

Your background
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 10 years’ experience in electrical/manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written in English language is required.
