YOUR ROLE IN THE TEAM

The Business insight Manager is our data lover, He/she is responsible for all the data pool to make it available for all stakeholders & to keep it fresh & updated.

He/she will feed the different stakeholders (trade marketeers, marketeers) with shopper, consumer & market insights to help them develop the right strategy, for the right brand in the right channel. Category Management is also an opportunity to further develop the role & our impact at Customer level.

Location: Pernod Ricard Belgium. (Brussels)

Reports to: Marketing Director Benelux

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Key tasks

  • Data Stewardship & Reporting: Own the data pool structure, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely updates across Nielsen, GfK, Ipsos, and internal sources.
  • Insight Generation: Translate shopper, consumer, market, and customer data into actionable insights that shape brand, channel, and customer strategies.
  • Business Reviews & Presentations: Lead the preparation and delivery of fact-based business reviews, management presentations, and customer decks that influence strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborative Business Planning: Coordinate the CBP process with key stakeholders form other functions, aligning on opportunities, joint growth initiatives, and performance tracking.
  • Category & Channel Strategy Support: Partner with Sales and Marketing to support channel development, portfolio strategies, and fact-based category management.
  • Data & Insight Transformation: Champion the modernization of data tools and processes, driving the shift from descriptive reporting to predictive and prescriptive insights.

Knowledge & Abilities

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to simplify complexity.
  • Proven ability to navigate matrix organizations and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: solution-driven, open-minded, digitally savvy.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills with natural impact.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum, ideally in business, economics, or marketing.
  • Fluency in French or Dutch with excellent English; trilingual preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, MS Office, and presentation tools
  • Solid knowledge of syndicated data providers (Nielsen, GfK, YouGov, Circana, Ipsos).

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in FMCG, Drinks, or related industries.
  • Background in data provider, financial analysis, category management, or commercial/insights role.
  • Proven track record in turning data into actionable business strategies.
