What will your responsibilities be?

  • Lead the Engineering, Maintenance, AME, Automation and Continuous Improvement functions at plant level
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term engineering strategies aligned with business and plant objectives
  • Drive innovation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and operational performance
  • Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment and technologies support production requirements and customer expectations
  • Lead engineering activities related to new product launches, APQP and process validation
  • Manage departmental resources, including CAPEX and OPEX budgets
  • Promote Lean Manufacturing, TPM and structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Support production capacity planning and manufacturing capability development
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Central Engineering teams to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards and safety regulations
  • Lead, develop and engage multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement
  • Support talent development and succession planning within the department

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, including leadership experience
  • Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering processes, APQP, Lean Manufacturing, TPM and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience managing engineering projects, manufacturing processes and new product launches
  • Proven experience leading Engineering, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement or Manufacturing Operations teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and drive strategic initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Experience with automation, digitalization and manufacturing innovation initiatives is considered an advantage
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Good English language skill
