Cohesity is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to support the high-volume manufacturing of industry-leading storage server platforms. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to drive manufacturing excellence across an expanding product portfolio and global contract manufacturing network.
- Drive the optimization, qualification, and continuous improvement of complex manufacturing processes, ensuring packaging, tooling, and production documentation are delivered on schedule.
- Improve product manufacturability by reducing cost, enhancing quality, and influencing technical design decisions.
- Lead and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities, driving corrective and preventive actions through to closure.
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies in partnership with suppliers and contract manufacturers to improve production efficiency, scalability, and supply continuity.
- Drive the successful introduction and integration of new and existing storage server platforms, increasing product quality and manufacturing velocity.
- Serve as the primary manufacturing interface between Cohesity and its global contract manufacturing partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and supplier teams to resolve production challenges and support product launches.
WE'D LOVE TO TALK IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 1–2 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, product industrialization, operations engineering, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems; Arena experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of server (1U, 2U), storage (HDD, SSDs), and networking peripherals.
- Some Compliance knowledge.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
