The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure stable, efficient, and cost-effective production operations.

About Your Job:

  • Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, labor utilization assessments, and equipment performance evaluations.

  • Perform process balancing, productivity analysis, and bottleneck identification to improve throughput and operational efficiency.

  • Lead and/or participate in Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, quality enhancement, and cost optimization.

  • Analyze production processes and implement corrective actions to improve quality, reduce scrap, and eliminate recurring process issues.

  • Develop, maintain, and standardize work instructions, process documentation, SOPs, and manufacturing standards.

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfers, process qualifications, and manufacturing validations.

  • Analyze production capacity requirements and support expansion projects to meet customer demand.

  • Identify, justify, and implement automation opportunities to improve productivity, ergonomics, and manufacturing consistency.

  • Specify, validate, optimize, and troubleshoot production equipment, fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing systems.

  • Collaborate with equipment suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to implement process improvements and new technologies.

  • Drive safety and ergonomic improvements within manufacturing workstations and production environments.

  • Partner closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Product Engineering, and Planning teams to ensure successful project execution and operational alignment.

  • Support manufacturing equipment integration projects, including process automation, robotics applications, equipment parameter optimization, and production line interfaces.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in stamping, metal forming, metal-mechanical manufacturing, or related production environments.

  • Experience with equipment integration, robotic systems, automated assembly processes, and automated production lines.

  • Exposure to tooling design, fixture development, process setup, and equipment parameterization.

  • Knowledge of tin soldering processes, joining technologies, and related manufacturing operations.

  • Experience leading cost reduction and productivity improvement projects with measurable results.

  • Six Sigma certification or experience utilizing statistical process improvement tools.

  • Strong Industrial Engineering fundamentals including time studies, labor analysis, capacity planning, line balancing, and productivity improvement.

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies, including Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, Pull Systems, Poka-Yoke, and continuous improvement tools.

  • Experience developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency.

  • Knowledge of automation, robotics integration, manufacturing equipment commissioning, and process parameter optimization.

  • Experience working with manufacturing equipment, tooling design, fixtures, and process development.

  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills using structured methodologies.

  • Ability to identify operational requirements based on customer demand and adjust resources accordingly.

  • Experience supporting process validation, equipment qualification, and standardized manufacturing practices.

  • Effective collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments.
