Position Title: Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Special Projects
Location: Iowa, El Paso, or Juarez
The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Special Projects is responsible for leading and shaping advanced manufacturing technology readiness across the organization. This role drives strategic initiatives, facilitates cross-functional reviews, and ensures the successful implementation and communication of technical data packages.
Key Responsibilities of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Special Projects:
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of TPI’s business processes, templates, and procedures for assessing Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL).
- Architect and maintain standard work and templates for advanced manufacturing processes, ensuring best practices are adopted across all sites.
- Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, and Advanced Manufacturing teams to define and drive requirements for complex manufacturing technology projects.
- Facilitate and lead cross-functional manufacturing readiness assessments, synthesizing actions, decisions, and all relevant data for executive review; develop and maintain executive-level summaries and strategic reports for AMT projects, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Partner with project managers to design and execute MRL gap closure plans, milestone reviews, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Champion alignment and best practices across multiple sites and teams, driving organizational improvement and innovation.

Education and Experience

Advanced proficiency with project management tools, software, and best practices.
Experience with new technology introduction and change management in manufacturing environments.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and modern digital tools and methods.
Skills Required
