You'll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across engineering, operations, and quality teams to develop robust, scalable, and thoughtfully designed manufacturing systems. Ownership, creativity, and clear communication are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in developing and launch manufacturing processes for EV battery remanufacturing, from initial concept through early production.
- Support in conceptualizing and communicating manufacturing systems, workflows, and equipment using clear documentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Create and optimize floor layouts, workflows, and tooling to support efficient operations.
- Author and maintain technical documentation, including work instructions, FMEAs, and process flows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, quality, and scalability.
- Design and document in alignment with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and deliver results with minimal oversight.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years' experience in a related field.
- Requires strong knowledge of basic hand tools, such as (e.g., knowing the difference between a drill and an impact), as well as good computer skills and the ability to use the Microsoft Office suite, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Excellent technical communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders to drive business goals, as well as good collaborative and teamwork skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in related discipline strongly desired, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing, lithium-ion batteries, high voltage systems, automation, and rapid prototyping is a plus.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Working Environment
Variable, consisting of both the office environment and the manufacturing floor. Travel as necessary to support implementation and launch. Potential hazards include proximity of moving machinery and high voltage systems. The position may require an individual to stand, stoop, bend, reach, or lift for prolonged periods of time. Standard PPE includes safety glasses, safety vest, and safety footwear.
USD 65,500.00 - 98,300.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
