Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
Support production builds, system integration, and manufacturing ramp activities.
Troubleshoot electronic and system-level issues involving power supplies, electrical assemblies, wiring, and subsystems.
Perform root cause analysis on manufacturing and field failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and test engineering teams to resolve product and process issues.
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, test procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Support validation, qualification, and reliability testing of electronic assemblies and subsystems.
Analyze production data to drive yield improvement, product reliability, and cost reduction initiatives.
Partner with suppliers and contract manufacturers to resolve component, assembly, and quality issues.
Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) throughout the sustaining phase of the product lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturability, quality, and operational efficiency.
 

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field with at least 5-6 years of experience, or Doctorate with at least 2 years of experience.
Experience supporting manufacturing, integration, or sustaining engineering in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of electronic subsystems, power electronics, power distribution, wiring systems, and electromechanical assemblies.
Experience with design reviews, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), design verification and validation (DVT), and qualification testing.
Understanding of product lifecycle management from concept development through production release and sustaining.
Experience working with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
Knowledge of semiconductor equipment, industrial automation, or complex electromechanical systems is an advantage.
