- During your internship you will support the design of meaningful and engaging user experiences for our connected biking solutions. Your contributions will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall user experience of our products, focusing on user needs and business objectives.
- You will collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including engineers and fellow designers, to assist in the research, ideation, prototyping, and testing phases of product development. Your enthusiasm for user-centered design will be essential as you will help create intuitive interactions that resonate with cyclists.
- Furthermore, you will work alongside product management and development teams to ensure that your designs are both functional and aligned with technical feasibility.
- Finally, you will thrive as part of an open-minded, interdisciplinary team of designers and technology professionals. Utilizing modern design tools, you will enjoy working both remotely and on-site.
- Education: studies in the field of Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: familiarity with UX design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and user research is essential; experience with design tools such as Figma, or similar software is desirable; familiarity with connected products and their implications for user experience design is beneficial; any background or skills in software or hardware design are a significant advantage; basic knowledge of usability testing and experience in design methodologies is a plus
- Personality and Working Practice: you work structured and reliable with good communication skills; you are motivated, creative, team-oriented, and able to collaborate in cross-functional teams, focusing on user needs and design excellence
- Languages: fluent in English, fluent in German is an advantage
Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 3 - 6 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required)
Work location: Frankfurt or Kusterdingen
