Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Managing Director to join our growing team in Tampa, FL.
This is a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility, real autonomy, and the chance to build a high‑performing team in one of the most dynamic markets in Florida.
How You Will Contribute:
- Lead as a player‑coach, setting clear expectations and driving accountability
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent
- Build a culture of ownership, integrity, and “get‑stuff‑done” execution
- Deliver strong P&L performance through disciplined, data‑driven decisions
- Optimize margins, manage costs, and uncover growth opportunities
- Turn insights into action—quickly and effectively
- Ensure regulatory and policy compliance
- Maintain audit readiness and proactively address risk
- Protect the business while enabling smart growth
Licenses & Certifications:
- Active General Lines Property & Casualty (2‑20) license (or ability to obtain)
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business/industry experience
- 4–7+ years of experience in the wholesale insurance industry
- Proven leadership, sales, and operational success
- Strong financial and analytical acumen
- Willingness to be on‑site in Tampa and travel as needed (up to 50%)
