Be part of the connection:
You guide your team to increase sales and penetration rates for our telecommunications portfolio. You partner with local Sales and Marketing teams to define and execute team-based selling strategies.
How you can make a difference:
  • Complete our 12-week paid sales training that won a Brandon Hall Group gold award for excellence in Best Advance in Sales Enablement and Performance Tools.
  • Implement a plan to recruit, train and motivate the team into a productive, cohesive unit.
  • Develop and execute sales plans focused on independent prospecting.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to develop and execute overarching team selling strategies.
  • Demonstrate Data products to prospective clients.
  • Field-based sales roles have fluidity between home, client location and office locations. The expectation is that you are primarily out in front of clients.
  • Guide sales teams and marketing initiatives by producing market development plans.
  • Monitor maintenance and acquisition of accounts and conduct weekly sales meetings and annual performance reviews.

WHAT YOU BRING TO SPECTRUM BUSINESS
Required qualifications:
  • Experience: Five or more years of experience selling telecommunications products with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales performance; History of leading teams focused on selling LAN and WAN technologies, Managed Router, firewall services and cloud-based solutions.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or an equivalent experience.
  • Technical skills: Expert in telecommunications, networking technologies and Cisco Meraki product suite; Familiar with Salesforce; Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Skills: Presentation and English communication skills.
  • Abilities: Proven ability to inspire teams to overachieve.
  • Availability: Travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities. Valid driver's license.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Cisco, Fortinet, Nuage or MEF certification.
