Supply Planning Manager

Location: Tullagreen, Cork

Reports to: Director of Supply Planning

Role Overview

The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for leading the supply planning function within a manufacturing environment, ensuring the right products and materials are available at the right time while balancing customer demand, inventory, capacity and cost.

The role will work closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, IOM, Warehousing and Commercial teams to develop robust supply plans, manage risks and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of supply and production plans in line with demand, capacity and inventory requirements.
• Manage and develop the Supply Planning team, ensuring clear priorities, accountability and effective performance.
• Identify and proactively manage material shortages, capacity constraints and supply risks.
• Provide clear communication and escalation of supply risks to senior stakeholders.
• Optimise inventory levels while maintaining agreed customer service targets.
• Lead or support the S&OP/IBP process, providing clear analysis of supply, capacity and inventory requirements.
• Work closely with Manufacturing and Procurement to ensure production and material availability.
• Monitor key supply chain KPIs and drive corrective actions where required.
• Identify and deliver improvements to planning processes, systems and ways of working.
• Ensure effective use of ERP/MRP systems and accurate planning data.

Experience & Skills

• 5 years experience in supply planning, production planning or a similar manufacturing supply chain role.
• Previous experience managing or leading a planning team.
• Strong understanding of MRP, ERP, inventory and production planning and leading an S&OP / IBP process.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to influence at plant and production cells level.
• Demonstrated through previous roles a readiness for first line management role based on performance and maturity.

Ireland Pay Ranges:

• Ireland: €76,000 - €126,000 EUR Annual
