Job Summary
The Dental Strategy team plays the role of internal consultant to the Dental Organization. They will be responsible for delivering and managing strategy for the Dental Organization as well as supporting input to the strategic roadmap, by working with the department leads and peers within the Dental Organization, and by directing the Network Strategy team to provide appropriate analytical insights and serve as change agents for the organization, driving awareness and adoption of design and continuous improvement best practices.
Direct the Dental Strategy team to provide appropriate analytical insights, dashboards, memos, and presentations to support the Executive Senior Leadership team with organizational direction. This includes creating Dental Network strategy in collaboration with all leadership in the Dental Organization for executive review. This also includes the entire DenteMax line of business. Use data to assess new opportunities and value propositions; develop presentations to communicate dental organization advantages/strengths from the data.
Evaluate and analyze data to support business strategy/operations improvements.
Work with Executive Dental Director to support the creation of short and long term clinical dental strategy.
Manage the execution of approved and identified strategic initiatives for the dental organization. This will include collaborating with management and peers in all departments within the dental organization as well as supporting departments at Dearborn and HCSC.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree and 5 years experience in managed care or network management at the Dental or Health Plan level OR 10 years network management experience.
- 1 year experience in a management/leadership capacity
- Strong analytical skills; experience performing data analysis, applying critical thinking to identify opportunities and proposing solutions
- PC proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite including experience with developing presentations, including graphical display of information
- Project Management experience
- Clear, concise and effective verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines; demonstrated independence; resourcefulness and self-management skills
- Critical thinking; problem-solving skills; detailed and well-organized
- Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels
- Solutions development skills and creativity skills
- Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to Dental.
- Knowledge of network management trends and innovations.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Experience with robotic process automation development tools.
- Experience in financial analysis
- Experience in use of membership data, premium data and/or claims data.

Base Pay Range$88,700.00 - $160,200.00
