Position Overview
Oversees a small team within the Total Rewards function, ensuring operational excellence in compensation and benefits. Supports the execution of strategic initiatives and contributes to process improvements. Manages day-to-day program administration, resolves escalated employee inquiries, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. Develops junior team members and fosters collaboration with HR partners.What You’ll Do:
Manage daily operations of compensation and benefits, ensuring timely execution and data accuracy.
Supervise and coach team members on Total Rewards processes, tools, and compliance standards.
Support annual compensation planning, benefits renewals, and wellness program administration.
Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, including documentation for audits.
Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Finance to execute programs and resolve escalated employee inquiries.
Monitor operational metrics and recommend process improvements.
Provide training, support, and development opportunities to team members to ensure high performance and engagement.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
What You’ll Bring to Zelis:
Typically has Bach. +8 yrs.; Masters +6 yrs. Attends company training and regional training in area of expertise. Presents own work to members of department and external consultants and external professional conferences, Collaborates externally
Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents.
Proven experience in managing teams.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Experience managing compensation and benefits operations.
Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., ACA, ERISA).
Ability to translate strategy into execution.

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India.
