Manager, Services Business Development - Financial Services (Consulting Focus)

Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.
As a member of the Services Business Development team, you will be on the frontlines, driving demand for Mastercard's Services in close partnership with solution experts. As a Business Development Manager, you will lead growth across banking and financial services clients in Poland by shaping value-based opportunities that enhance customer experience, improve operational effectiveness, and support digital transformation-contributing to the long-term growth of Mastercard Services.
Role
• Drive Services growth in Poland by identifying, shaping, and converting new business opportunities through a value-based, consultative approach • Build trusted relationships with new and existing clients, engaging confidently with mid to senior level stakeholders • Structure and articulate client challenges through clear, insight-led problem statements grounded in market, organizational, and cultural context • Design tailored client propositions by leveraging Mastercard's full Services portfolio to translate insight into actionable solutions • Lead client conversations and proposals end to end, owning value-oriented proposals and commercial discussions • Partner closely with local leadership, including the Country Manager, Division Lead, Account Management, Product and Marketing, to align priorities and go to market strategy • Mobilize and coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure momentum, sponsorship, and delivery success • Contribute to thought leadership and intellectual capital by capturing client insights and best practices • Support team development through active participation in recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and knowledge sharing
All About You
• Extensive experience in Strategy Consulting within Financial Services or experience in Sales & Business Development in the Financial Services sector (payments experience is an advantage) • Strong understanding of the Polish banking landscape, with experience engaging senior client stakeholders; exposure to payments is a plus • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and build lasting partnerships by developing and articulating clear value propositions • Ability to combine structured problem solving with commercial acumen and a strong client orientation • Confident communicator with excellent Polish and English, comfortable operating at executive level - additional languages skills (such as German, French, Italian) desirable • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling narratives • Proven ability to work collaboratively while also owning priorities independently in a fast-paced environment • Experience managing multiple initiatives in parallel, prioritizing based on impact and business context • Undergraduate degree required; Master's, MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
