The CFO Group is a global corporate function at Fidelity International, operating across all 27 countries and bringing together Finance, Business Consulting, Procurement, Treasury and Corporate Property Services.

Through the Finance Fast Forward programme, the function is evolving towards a more modern, commercially focused and insight‑led model, strengthening its use of data, automation and judgement to support high‑quality decision‑making, robust control and sustainable outcomes.
About your role
As Manager/Senior Manager – Financial Control you will take ownership of financial control, regulatory reporting and statutory processes for our Taiwan entity and branches.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise in local regulatory requirements, financial reporting and control, with responsibility for delivering accurate, compliant and timely outputs across close and regulatory processes. The role also includes a focus on process efficiency and continuous improvement, supporting the evolution of the Taiwan finance operating model.
Working closely with the onshore Finance team (including the Head of Finance Taiwan and P2P teams), the role will help ensure a cohesive, well-controlled Finance function, while operating within a matrix structure with regional oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Control & Regulatory Reporting
- Lead financial close, year-end and regulatory reporting processes, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements for the Taiwan entities
- Oversee statutory reporting and ensure alignment with group reporting requirements
- Manage external audit and regulatory interactions
Capital & Liquidity Management
- Monitor and manage regulatory capital requirements and key balance sheet positions
- Ensure entities remain appropriately capitalised in line with regulatory expectations
- Provide clear reporting and insight to senior management
Operating Model & Transformation
- Drive efficiency, automation and process improvement across financial control activities
- Leverage automation and digital tools to reduce manual processes and enhance control
- Support improvements to the local operating model and resource allocation where appropriate
Technical Oversight & Controls
- Provide guidance on regulatory, accounting and financial control matters
- Ensure strong internal controls across all areas of financial control
- Maintain audit readiness and proactively manage risk
Tax
- In partnership with Tax, take ownership of tax compliance, including preparation of tax returns and filings
- Manage tax audits and respond to queries from authorities
- Maintain oversight of transfer pricing arrangements, ensuring appropriate documentation and compliance
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Work effectively within a matrix organisation, collaborating with regional teams
- Operate independently with accountability for local delivery
- Partner closely with the onshore Finance team, including the Head of Finance Taiwan and P2P teams
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders in English and Mandarin
About you
Key Skills & Experience
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent) essential
- Financial control experience in Taiwan within a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of FSC requirements, including regulatory reporting obligations
- Experience overseeing regulatory reporting processes
- Strong understanding of capital and balance sheet management
- Technical expertise in financial reporting, with knowledge of group reporting requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Taiwan tax requirements, including tax compliance and transfer pricing arrangements
- Experience driving process improvements and automation initiatives
- Experience working in a matrix structure, including offshore interaction
- Hands-on, proactive and able to operate independently
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (essential)
- Ability to explain complex regulatory, tax and financial matters clearly to stakeholders
- Strong execution focus with attention to detail
- Commercial mindset with a focus on efficiency and value-add
- High levels of ownership and accountability
