Ensure compliance with various regulatory agencies including FAA, FCC, along with any federal and state government agencies.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Review environmental (NEPA, EA, Phase I) reports and file with FCC accordingly.
- Review, investigate and note any regulatory discrepancies for all towers.
- Report towers to FAA and FCC within required time frames and track FAA/FCC status of all sites.
- Provide support to the Associate General Counsel of Regulatory Compliance
- Inform field offices of new FAA and FCC regulations as they change.
- Advise and negotiate with the field offices on problem sites.
- Participate in and coordinate FCC environmental evaluations.
- Order SHPO/THPO consultation services for tower leasing.
- Manage RTP process with NBG.
- Manage RTP process for tower replacements.
- Manage FCC FRN accounts.
- Manage the CRM violations tracker.
- Daily data entry in the property management database.
- Daily contact with field personnel, clients, government agencies and environmental consultants.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee and advise compliance specialists.
- Work with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ a talented and diverse group of high performing team members.
- Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.
