Job Description

Renesas Electronics is seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven professional for the role of Regional Product Marketing Personal. This is a strategic and highly visible position responsible for driving market development, business growth, and customer engagement across India.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in microcontroller and microprocessor-based embedded systems, coupled with a strong background in product marketing, business development, and go-to-market execution. The role requires a proven ability to develop market opportunities, strengthen customer and partner relationships, and drive revenue growth through effective collaboration with sales teams, distributors, and ecosystem partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive regional business growth by enabling sales teams to achieve design-win objectives through comprehensive training, regular communications, customer engagement, and distributor support.
  • Develop and deliver compelling product marketing collateral, promotional campaigns, and digital content that effectively influence customers, channel partners, distributors, and key decision-makers.
  • Represent regional market requirements to Product Business Units by providing market intelligence, competitive analysis, customer feedback, and recommendations for future product development.
  • Define and execute India-focused Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies in collaboration with management, including product launches, new product and solution introductions (NPI/NSI), customer demonstrations, trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and engage design partners and ecosystem enablers to strengthen product ecosystems, accelerate design wins, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Establish, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) while proactively tracking and improving business performance.
  • Provide product expertise, technical marketing support, and training to Renesas Sales teams, Field Application Engineers (FAEs), Sales Representatives, and Distribution Partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline is required; an MBA is preferred, particularly with a focus on embedded software, technology management, or related fields.
  • 12+ years of experience in microcontrollers, microprocessors, embedded systems, development tools, and technology marketing.
  • Proven experience leading local, global, and cross-functional teams, programs, and external partners.
  •  Strong understanding of embedded system development methodologies, software tools, and system-level design techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage technical and business audiences effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and execution excellence.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment across internal and external organizations.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of MCU/MPU ecosystems, applications, market segments, and industry requirements.
  • Understanding of inverter motor control systems, industrial automation applications, Human-Machine Interface (HMI), and AI Ecosystem.
  • Experience with embedded software platforms, development tools, and solutions used across multiple industries.
  • Prior experience as an Application Engineer or Field Application Engineer is highly desirable.
