Are you the person who keeps a high-volume interview engine running smoothly? We're looking for a Manager, Recruiting Coordination to lead and grow our Recruiting Coordinator team across San Francisco and New York.
You'll own how coordination runs day to day: who supports which recruiters, the scheduling SLAs and support bar for every interview and onsite, and how the team scales as hiring grows. Our coordinators support multiple recruiters and hiring teams, handling a high volume of mostly technical interview loops. They partner with executive assistants on confidential roles, and support the opening of jobs and the building of interview plans for all roles. You'll make sure that pace stays sustainable for the team and smooth for every candidate. You'll also take on project work as a part of Recruiting Operations to improve how recruiting operations, and recruiting overall, runs at Baseten.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage, coach, and develop a team of Recruiting Coordinators across San Francisco and New York, including 1:1s, goal setting, regular feedback, and performance conversations.
Forecast coordinator headcount from scheduling volume and hiring plans. to hire, onboard, and grow coordinators: own the RC interview process, ramp new hires through a structured plan, and build career paths into senior RC, recruiting, or operations roles.
Assign coordinators to support talent profiles and hiring teams, rebalance coverage as hiring volume grows, and monitor daily coverage so scheduling and onsites never drop.
Partner with Recruiting Operations to turn coordinator, candidate, and interviewer pain points into automation and AI opportunities, and identify, build and lead process, reporting, and tooling projects to improve outcomes across the funnel.
Define what the coordination team owns, maintain the RC handbook, and represent coordination in recruiting leadership discussions.
Own the process for opening and publishing jobs, and keep interview plans, hiring teams, and scheduling data in our ATS accurate.
Own the SLAs and service bar for all scheduling, and monitor interviewer load and availability rules, from screens and interview loops to debriefs, sell calls, and reference calls.
Ensure every onsite in San Francisco and New York runs smoothly, including candidate travel and related budgets.
REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience in recruiting or recruiting operations, with 2+ years managing recruiting coordinators.
Experience using scheduling and recruiting data and metrics to drive capacity, quality, and staffing decisions.
Experience coordinating with executives and supporting confidential hiring processes.
Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing coordinators.
NICE TO HAVE
Coordination experience at a fast-growing tech company, ideally supporting technical interview loops.
Experience leading a team across multiple offices, locally and globally.
Experience managing contract or agency coordination support.
