ModMed is hiring a driven Manager, RCM Performance Analytics to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Revenue Cycle team focused on utilizing data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiency, drive revenue growth, and support informed decision-making across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to take a proactive approach to ensure healthy metrics within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!
Your Role:
- Manage and mentor a team of RCM Performance Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of RCM performance metrics. Develop dashboards and reports to communicate insights and trends to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify areas for improvement within the revenue cycle processes, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce denials, and optimize revenue capture.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Coding, Client Success, Operations and other BOOST departments to ensure alignment on client performance goals and initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between billing, coding, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on performance goals and data integrity.
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans aimed at improving overall revenue cycle performance, leveraging data insights to drive decision-making.
- Design and implement training programs for staff on RCM metrics, data interpretation, and best practices in performance analytics.
- Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the RCM Performance Analysts data to inform decision-making.
- Identifying bottlenecks or inefficiencies in BOOST processes that lead to delays or revenue loss.
- Analyzing patterns in claim denials and developing strategies to reduce their occurrence.
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 5 years RCM or performance analytics experience
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with experience in training and mentoring staff.
- Ability to analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (i.e. Excel, Google Sheets, etc) and experience with data software (i.e. Power BI).
- Strong analytical skills to address complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Knowledge of medical billing/coding, front-office, physician practice management and healthcare business processes.
- Strong understanding of various insurance carriers, including Medicare, private HMOs, and PPOs.
- Ability to manage and integrate information located in multiple software systems.
- Experience working with global vendors
