We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Manager – Quality Assurance to join us!

Here is what you need to know about this role:

  • Professional account manager. A customer facing role to handle various customers from U.S. and Europe.

  • Quality technical expert. Provide technical support & advice to merchandiser, customer and supplier/factory to ensure products meet required quality standard and compliance to regulatory/safety standards.

  • Manager of policy and standards. Develop associated audit programs (when necessary) and QC documentation. 

  • Team leader of regional teams. Lead the team of QA engineers to performance pre-production meetings and sample review to ensure factories’ capability, capacity and experience before production.

  • Project manager throughout the end-to-end processes. Periodical review to the program health in terms of Audit / Inspection Passing Rate, Defect Rate and Claim Rate.

  • Quality and cost controller. Work with merchandiser / vendor to develop clear quality expectation with a balance between quality and cost.

  • Trainer to stakeholders. Provide training to suppliers to ensure vendor’s understanding to customer’s quality expectation, policy, procedure and technical requirements.

  • Conflict solver of premium customers. Handle complaint and product return and recall from customers.

  • Project controller of making timeliness decisions. Provide technical decision to resolve product quality issues on time to minimize impact to shipment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

You might be a good fit if you have/are …

  • Over 10 years of related experience with at least 5 years in managerial level

  • Degree level or above in Quality Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electronic Engineering or related discipline

  • Familiar with Hardgoods products both on quality assessment and production knowledge. Knowledge in home textile products is an advantage.

  • Relevant experience in dealing with chain stores customers from U.S. and Europe.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong quality process knowledge and metric management mindset

  • Capable of negotiating and managing conflicts well

  • Willing to travel when necessary

  • Fluent in both written and spoken English communication

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years progressive QA/QC experience in consumer goods.
  • At least 3-5 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
  • Technical expertise in home accessories and electrical or battery-driven products.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of EU and international product safety and chemical compliance standards (REACH, EN 71, CPSIA, Prop 65, EUTR/EUDR).
  • Experience with early-stage pre-development QA: product risk assessments, prototype/sample evaluations, patent checks, and factory QMPs.
  • Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), active production troubleshooting, and complaint/recall management.
  • Excellent cross-border communication and stakeholder management with merchandising, vendors, and regional QC staff.
