As Hong Kong based- associate in local Payments Business Management, you will support Hong Kong Payments head to drive strategic execution, business performance management, governance, and cross-LOB key agendas. Partnering with senior leaders and key stakeholders, you will provide timely, decision-ready insights that supports business performance and strategic decision-making. You will also be involved in key Greater China business priorities and initiatives, providing you a holistic view on Greater China Payments business. This is a diversified role requiring an adaptable individual who is strong in analytical and communication skills, managing competing priorities, and operating across a broad range of business management activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Support Hong Kong Payments head to execute strategic initiatives, projects, and business priorities
Coordinate closely with segment, country, product, Finance, Strategy, and central teams to support business objectives and franchise priorities
Support business reviews, forecasting processes, and strategic planning through insightful analysis and decision support
Analyze business performance and synthesize complex information into clear recommendations that support strategic priorities and management decisions
Deliver timely, actionable, and decision-ready insights to senior management, proactively highlighting emerging trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers across the business
Contribute to regional and global business management initiatives, promoting alignment, best-practice sharing, and cross-country connectivity
Act as a catalyst for change by identifying opportunities to improve processes, challenge existing ways of working, and enhance business effectiveness
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor degree with minimum of 5 years of related experience in Finance, Strategy, Business Management, or related discipline.
Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable business insight
Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex topics into clear and compelling messages for senior audiences
Proficiency in Excel and experience with high-quality PowerPoint documents, analytics, automation, and visualization solutions
Familiarity with AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) and the ability to apply them to business management, workflow optimization, and decision support
Highly adaptable, intellectually curious, and a self-starter with an excellent attitude, motivation, and ability to learn quickly
Continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail and a willingness to challenge the status quo
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Knowledge of Payments or Banking products being advantageous.
- Experience with AI-enabled tool, Python, Alteryx will be a plus
