Job Description:

Responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Business Development:
  • Promote NCS  Automotive networking solutions and strategy to OEMs and Tier 1 supplies, ensuring alignment
  • Drive automotive Ethernet design wins through OEM and Tier‑1 engagements
  • New product definition and introduction:
  • Evaluate market segments and applications, work closely with on requirements and trends to define new products, functions and systems.
  • Interact with the various disciplines and other Business Units within Microchip to develop TSS platforms based on NCS Automotive Networking anchor products
  • Deliver ESE and sales field training to promote and support our products
  • Support the Microchip sales organization with marketing tools and price quotes.
  • Review with Sales the customer/partner demand forecast and backlog coverage for OEM and Distribution

Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics, Computer Science or other related fields
  • MBA or senior expertise gained in marketing and/or applications positions.
  • 10 yrs of experience in Automotive market and / or networking  applications.
  • Ability to travel, also for extended time (eg. Up to 1 or 2 weeks) into our worldwide regions to visit partners, customers and Microchip’s offices.

  • Self-motivated, customer-oriented with attention to details
  • Self-directed - works well with minimal supervision and is able to multi-task
  • Strong oral and written communication skills – English mandatory.
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving mindset/skills
  • Ability to work within and lead diverse teams.
