The Role
Leads third-party risk management and procurement operations across U.S. and Asia regions. Manages stakeholder escalations, supplier relationships, performance gaps, continuous improvement, cost optimization, project schedules, statements of work, and process adoption. Translates business requirements into executable delivery plans, oversees cross-functional teams, and supports operational targets. Supervises 10–15 employees while providing mentoring, training, and workplace planning.

Position Summary
A leadership role responsible for strategic planning and execution of all Third-Party Risk Management operations for U.S. and Asia regions. Responsibilities entail:
  • Work with TPRM Program office and the regional Procurement Operations to assist with communication of key process changes to drive program adoption within LOBs, risk partners and GCC operations teams
  • Be a senior escalation point for resolving stakeholder & internal issues. Handle escalations confidently, identify key risks and agree/implement mitigation plans to ensure repeat complaints are eliminated
  • Actively contribute to overall operational targets as well as daily business decisions

Job Responsibilities
  • Implement appropriate mechanisms to identify, understand and call out performance gaps and/or performance breakthroughs in TPRM and procurement operations. Develop and implement improvement plans to close performance gaps
  • Drive continuous improvement within operational processes, look for opportunities to improve current cost base
  • Collaborate on projects with stakeholder that may include solutioning, pricing, due diligence, transition and stabilization
  • Determine needs of internal customer / line of businesses and incorporate that information into the appropriate statements of work to support TPRM activities.
  • Lead and initiate discussions at stakeholder side and highlight key focus areas and bring in traction to support operations, and ensure implementation
  • Work with the stakeholders to understand key requirements and translate them into delivery plans capable of being executed effectively to agreed timelines
  • Work with TPRM Program office and the regional Procurement Operations to assist with communication of key process changes to drive program adoption within LOBs, risk partners and GCC operations teams
  • Strong supplier management skills.
  • Strong negotiating, persuasion & influence skills
  • Cross-functional team leadership, including experience in establishing and managing project schedules to ensure TPRM activities are completed on schedule.

Education, Technical Skills & Other Critical Requirement
Education
Bachelor's degree (Any Stream) or diploma with a minimum of 15 years of education.
Experience
(In Years)
  • 10+ years working experience in procurement with a total of 12 years is required.

Technical Skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS office Suite (Word, Excel (advanced skills) and PowerPoint.)
  • Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of MS Access would be an advantage but not a definite requirement.
  • Knowledge of the U.S. marketplace for key commodities (ie. IT related products and services, Professional Services, Facilities, Marketing, Print etc.)

Good knowledge of Ariba
Other Critical Requirements Like Voice/ Non-Voice for Insurance Ops
  • Strong communication skills - Written and spoken (English).
  • Self driven and result oriented
  • Proven analytical and research skills.
  • Must work well in a team environment, while being individually responsible for the project management and results.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline or diploma with a minimum of 15 years of education
  • At least 10 years of procurement experience and 12 years of total work experience
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, persuasion, and influencing skills
  • Strong supplier management skills
  • Cross-functional team leadership and project schedule management experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, research, communication, and task coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while owning project results
  • Knowledge of Ariba
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access
  • Knowledge of the U.S. marketplace for IT products and services, professional services, facilities, marketing, and print commodities
