Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Join Salesforce's Marketing M&A Strategy & Integration team and help shape how acquired companies become part of Salesforce's business and go-to-market ecosystem.
In this role, you will support marketing due diligence, develop go-to-market strategies, and help drive the integration of acquired businesses. You will work closely with Corporate Development, Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, and acquired company leadership to evaluate opportunities, develop integration plans, and execute key initiatives.
This is a highly cross-functional role that combines strategic thinking, business analysis, and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and eager to build expertise across the M&A lifecycle.
What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Support marketing due diligence for potential acquisitions, evaluating marketing organizations, GTM strategies, programs, budgets, pipeline performance, and operational capabilities.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to assess marketing performance, identify risks, and evaluate opportunities for growth.
  • Synthesize findings into clear recommendations and executive-ready diligence materials.
  • Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for acquired companies, including positioning, product launches, demand generation, and sales enablement.
  • Own assigned marketing integration workstreams, coordinating deliverables, milestones, risks, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, Corporate Development, and acquired company teams to align priorities and drive integration activities.
  • Support marketing operating model decisions, resource planning, integration investments, and identification of potential synergies.
  • Identify integration risks and recommend mitigation strategies while balancing Salesforce priorities with the acquired company's existing business and GTM motion.
  • Develop and maintain integration plans, executive updates, milestone trackers, and decision-support materials.
  • Coordinate cross-functional meetings, document decisions, manage action items, and drive accountability for key deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and standardize Marketing M&A processes, tools, and integration frameworks.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple acquisitions in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

You're Our Person If...

  • Experience in marketing, GTM strategy, business operations, or a related function.
  • Understanding of enterprise software business models and how Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success work together to drive growth.
  • Familiarity with marketing functions such as product marketing, demand generation, events, communications, or marketing operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex business issues and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working with financial and operational metrics, budgets, and business performance data.
  • Ability to translate detailed analyses into clear insights and recommendations for different audiences.
  • Interest in mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, and business integration.
  • Understanding of the acquisition lifecycle, due diligence, integration planning, or organizational change is a plus.
  • Ability to connect marketing activities and investments to broader business objectives.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively across teams, functions, and leadership levels.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing stakeholders, and driving alignment without direct authority.
  • High EQ, low ego, strong initiative, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience developing presentations, business recommendations, and executive-ready materials.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both working teams and senior leadership.
  • Experience supporting or managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned workstreams, identify risks, recommend solutions, and drive deliverables to completion.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, GTM strategy, business operations, management consulting, corporate development, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and presentation development.
  • Ability to quickly learn collaboration and project management tools.
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, AI, or emerging technology businesses is a plus.
