We are hiring a Manager, Learning and Development based in Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia or Slovakia to join our team.
The Manager, Learning & Development is responsible for supporting training strategy, identifying, developing, and delivering training solutions that support global Precision for Medicine functions. This role partners with subject matter experts to design effective learning programs across translational sciences (labs and logistics), clinical operations, project management, GCP, data management, and regulatory/compliance areas in support of functional and GCP requirements. The Manager serves as the primary intake point for training requests, coordinates new hire onboarding, and supports refinement of learning technologies and platforms. Clear communication and collaboration with stakeholders and L&D leadership are essential to success in this role.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Partner with functional SMEs to assess training needs, design and develop appropriate content, and deliver effective learning solutions.
- Lead coordination and delivery of new hire role specific onboarding for Precision for Medicine, including scheduling and tracking as applicable.
- Design and deliver instructor‑led, virtual, and e‑learning training programs aligned with adult learning principles.
- Serve as first‑line triage for training requests and provide guidance on existing tools, templates, and materials.
- Manage and support learning platforms and systems used by the L&D function.
- Maintain accurate training documentation, records, and reporting in accordance with regulatory expectations.
- Collaborate with functional leadership to establish and maintain role‑based curricula by function, including documented annual reviews of curricula and training hour requirements, with updates completed as regulations, organizational needs, or role expectations evolve.
Education and Experience:
- Graduate, postgraduate, 4-year college degree, or equivalent experience in a scientific or healthcare discipline.
- A minimum of 4-6 years of clinical trial experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO and/or healthcare setting, of which 4 years must include roles directly related to clinical trial execution supporting delivery teams with training and development.
- Proficiency with learning development platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal communication skills be able to communicate effectively in the English language.
- Strong writing and recordkeeping abilities.
- Ability to plan and manage multiple complex projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with individual and teams internally and externally.
- Core understanding of medical terminology and clinical trial activities in relation to execution of a clinical development plan.
- Strong knowledge of ICH/GCP relating to clinical trial management.
