Are you passionate about developing strong, visionary leaders? At ResMed, we're searching for an inspiring Manager of Leadership Development to play a transformative role in shaping and driving leadership capabilities across our global organization.

This role will help ensure a culture of strong leadership competencies across ResMed, fostering an environment where leaders can thrive and drive ResMed strategic imperatives.

From a Sydney base location, this position requires a hands-on individual with a can-do attitude that can work across global regions and time-zones. Collaboration and communication are key for success in this role. 

Let's talk about Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:  Work closely with leaders, People Business Partners, and other stakeholders to understand leadership development needs and tailor programs accordingly. Act as a sparing partner for senior leaders to drive culture and collaboration
  • Global consistency:  Ensure global consistency and alignment of leadership development initiatives across different regions and cultures.
  • External partnerships:  Identify and onboard external learning partners to scale and deploy leadership programs globally, utilizing a variety of instructional methods, ensuring quality and alignment with company standards.
  • Mentorship and Coaching:  Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to emerging leaders and leaders, helping them to achieve their full potential.
  • Facilitation and Delivery:  When required lead engaging and impactful training sessions, workshops, and seminars for leaders at various levels.
  • Evaluation:  Partner with the People analytics team to measure programs and determine the impact of leadership initiatives, ensuring they are impactful and aligned with organizational needs.
  • Continuous Improvement:  Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in leadership development to further enhance leadership initiatives and build operational effectiveness.
  • Program Translation:  Manage program translation into local language when required through an external provider or a local translation company.

Let's talk about YOU

  • Proven track record in learning and development with in-depth knowledge of instructional design, experiential learning and user experience.
  • Experience in working with (senior) leaders and strong sense for their business requirements and individual needs
  • Experience with innovative learning technology methods (build-test-iterate) to empower digital, remote and scalable learning solutions to engage disbursed teams and remote employees.
  • Knowledgeable in design thinking, innovation and internal/external consulting/partnering skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills to promote programs, influence across the organization and drive collaboration. Great analytical thinking skills to assess and measure impact of programs and experiences.
  • Comfort and availability to work across global regions and time-zones.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in learning and development in the medical device or life sciences industry preferred.
