This position plays a critical role in ensuring our technology investments are planned, managed, and optimized effectively. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, financially savvy, and comfortable working across departments to align IT initiatives with business goals. This is a highly collaborative role that supports strategic decision-making and contributes to the overall efficiency and accountability of the IT organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and coordination of the annual IT budget, working closely with IT leaders and administrative departments.
Manage monthly budget analysis and reporting, identifying trends, variances, and recommending actions as needed.
Partner with Finance to manage budget changes, track actuals, and align forecasts.
Oversee contract management, including tracking terms, renewal dates, and compliance obligations.
Maintain an accurate inventory of software licenses, including renewal schedules and usage metrics.
Negotiate and review license agreements and renewals with key technology vendors such as Microsoft.
Collaborate with IT project managers to ensure financial alignment with project goals.
Provide financial insight to support IT decision-making, project planning, and vendor negotiations.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, or contract management—experience in IT or a technology-focused environment is a plus.
Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with financial systems and reporting tools preferred.
Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Comfortable working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
