It also serves as a bridge between operations, procurement, finance, quality, and digital teams by converting plant and supplier data into actionable dashboards, presentations, and improvement plans.
Key Responsibilities
IL6S and Process Excellence
  • Lead and sustain IL6S deployment across external manufacturing partners through structured improvement programs, audits, capability assessments, and coaching.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving tools to improve safety, quality, service, and cost performance.
  • Facilitate Kaizen workshops, loss analysis, and performance reviews at external manufacturing sites and ensure closure of agreed actions.

Power BI and Dashboard Preparation

  • Ensure data governance, consistency of KPI definitions, and accuracy of reporting for all external manufacturing dashboards.

Productivity Monitoring in VOLT
  • Serve as the single point contact for External Manufacturing in VOLT and own productivity monitoring governance for all relevant external manufacturing sites.
  • Define, track, and review productivity KPIs in VOLT, such as machine utilization, downtime, labor productivity, yield, rework, and waste percentage, aligned with IL6S and business targets.
  • Coordinate with plant teams, digital teams, IT teams, and external manufacturers to ensure correct data capture, validation, and timely flow of productivity information into VOLT.
  • Use VOLT insights along with Power BI dashboards to identify losses, monitor trends, and trigger corrective and preventive actions across external sites.
  • Act as the primary interface between VOLT platform stakeholders and external manufacturing teams for data standardization, issue resolution, and reporting effectiveness.

Cost and Performance Metrics
  • Monitor and analyze key manufacturing cost metrics, including conversion cost, waste percentage, yield loss, rework cost, labor efficiency, and productivity losses.
  • Translate operational losses and process variation into business impact and support external manufacturing teams in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support benchmarking of external manufacturing units on operational efficiency, cost competitiveness, and IL6S maturity.

PowerPoint and Executive Communication
  • Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations for monthly reviews, business updates, leadership forums, and external manufacturing performance governance.
  • Convert operational and dashboard insights into concise executive storytelling with clear messages, action plans, and decision points.
  • Support business review meetings with structured presentation material covering trends, root causes, risks, and next steps.

Stakeholder and Governance Management
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Excellence, and Digital teams to ensure alignment on KPI definitions, reporting, and improvement priorities.
  • Build capability within external manufacturing teams on IL6S methods, performance management, and use of digital dashboards for decision-making.
  • Maintain governance routines, tracker systems, review cadence, and escalation mechanisms for performance gaps at external sites.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma or IL6S certification such as Green Belt or Black Belt is preferred.
