The Manager, HRIS-Core is a key member of the HRIS team and is responsible for the successful execution, management and operational performance of the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) modules. This role serves as the functional owner for core HR and payroll platforms, combining deep functional and technical HRIS expertise with people leadership and operational accountability.
This role sets configurations standards, contributes to the platform roadmap, manages system configuration, enhancements, and issue resolution, and manages a small team of HRIS professionals. This role ensures stability, compliance, and continuous improvement of the core HR and payroll systems, partnering closely with HR COEs, Payroll, Technology, and external vendors to deliver scalable, future-state HR technology solutions.
Job Responsibilities• Manage and deliver configuration, support, and enhancement of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP)• Contribute to platform roadmap, execute against plans with team members, anticipate and mitigate risks, and drive successful service outcomes• Manage two HRIS professionals including prioritization, coaching, skills development, and performance management• Lead system configuration, testing, release planning, and deployments• Partner with HR COEs, Payroll, and Compliance to translate business needs into system solutions, resolve competing requirements and make timely design decisions.• Troubleshoot and resolve complex HRIS issues and serve as escalation point• Manage vendor relationships and system documentation• Identify opportunities for automation, AI, and Continuous Improvement and recommend additions to HRIS roadmap aligned to business strategy.
Leadership Responsibilities• Direct supervisory responsibility for HRIS professionals, including hands-on coaching, technical guidance, development planning, and performance management• Accountable for platform effectiveness, team performance and service delivery• Balances individual contributor and leadership responsibilities
Position Requirements• 5-7 years of HRIS or HR Technology experience. Bachelor's degree preferred • Significant hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central; ECP experience is a plus• Experience managing, coaching and developing staff• Strong knowledge of HR processes• Experience with system releases, upgrades, and user acceptance• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills• Ability to translate business needs into system solutions, influence stakeholders and drive decisions with enterprise impact
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $100,000-$128,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
