Department Description
Global capability hub team is responsible for providing financial analysis, information, forecasting and insight to senior leaders within, Technology, Operations, Investment Management and Corporate functions, as well as to the FIL board and the Global Operating Committee as a whole. The team is also responsible for corporate KPI and revenue, sales and assets reporting and for maintaining all revenue sales, assets and management accounts data globally.
Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a individual with leadership mindset to manage end-to-end Sales, Assets and Revenue reporting within an Asset Management environment. The role will combine strong system expertise (Anaplan/Oracle), deep understanding of forecasting & budgeting cycles, KPI ownership, and global stakeholder management.
This role will lead a team responsible for accurate, timely, and insightful reporting while driving continuous improvement and automation across reporting frameworks.
About your role
We are seeking a commercially focused finance professional to lead Revenue, Sales, and AUM reporting while driving forecasting, planning, and business insight across the Asset Management business. This role partners closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Distribution, and Business teams to deliver accurate reporting, forward-looking analysis, and strategic decision support.
Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue, Sales & AUM Reporting- Own end-to-end reporting for key business metrics including Revenue, Sales, and Assets Under Management (AUM).
- Ensure data accuracy, robust controls, and effective governance across reporting processes.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and budgeting reporting activities.
- Deliver insightful management information and performance analysis to support business decision-making.
- Partner with Finance and Business teams on revenue, sales, and AUM forecasting.
- Support annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
- Analyse revenue drivers including market movements, net flows, product mix, and client activity.
- Perform scenario modelling and provide forward-looking business insights.
- Deliver clear variance analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Leaders, Finance teams, Distribution leadership, and Technology partners.
- Present key insights and performance updates to senior management.
- Support strategic initiatives, business transformation, and cross-regional alignment.
- Work collaboratively across global and regional teams to deliver business outcomes.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and automation.
- Contribute to building reporting and analytical capability within the team.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA, or equivalent qualification.
- 7-10 years of experience in FP&A, Business Finance, or Commercial Finance.
- Asset Management or Investment Management experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of: Revenue and AUM drivers Financial planning and forecasting Sales and distribution performance reporting Management reporting and business analytics
- Experience partnering with senior global stakeholders and influencing business decisions.

Skills Required
- Chartered Accountant qualification
- 7-10 years of experience in investment management, asset management, or a BFSI reporting environment
- Strong understanding of AUM reporting
- Strong understanding of revenue mechanics in asset management
- Strong understanding of sales and distribution reporting
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Experience managing global stakeholders
- OBIEE or equivalent BI platform experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Anaplan experience
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts
