Position Summary
CVS Health is hiring a Manager of FP&A within its Health Services Segment and will report to the Lead Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. You will be responsible for supporting financial planning and reporting for the Wellpartner 340B business unit through tasks such as month-end close variance analysis and budget and forecast modeling. This position impacts strategic decision making and sustainable long-term earnings growth by supporting and improving financial processes as well as providing data driven insights. These efforts will span across various departments to deliver on key enterprise initiatives and operational results. The role will need to promote a culture of innovation, challenging the status quo, and development of team members.
Key Activities Include
- Ownership of key inputs into the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting for the Wellpartner 340B business
- Maintains and updates SQL databases and Excel reports
- Assists in the preparation of monthly financial packages to be presented to senior management
- Develops margin analyses, projections, reports, and presentations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and ensures financial data accuracy
- Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management
- Assists in the creation of an annual operating budget and annual strategic plan
- Carries out special financial planning and analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity which may include: financial metrics, process improvement initiatives, competition, investments, etc
- Subject matter expert for 340B for FP&A
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years relevant FP&A experience
- Minimum of 4 years budgeting and forecasting experience
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, experience using functions such as PivotTables, VLookup, etc
- Advanced SQL skills and the ability to connect data across multiple sources
- Attention to detail and curiosity are critical success factors for this role
- Excellent time management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of finance in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries
- 3+ years of Microsoft Access experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a fast-paced organization under tight deadlines
Education
Bachelors Degree or equal years of working experience may be considered

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
