Our Opportunity
Chewy is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager, Workplace Experience to join our Pack. As the senior onsite Facilities leader, you are responsible for creating an environment where Team Members can do their best work by delivering a workplace that is safe, welcoming, energizing, reliable, and operationally excellent.
You will own the overall workplace experience for your assigned location, balancing exceptional service, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and evolving business needs. By building strong partnerships across the business, you will translate organizational priorities into workplace solutions that enable productivity, collaboration, and long-term portfolio success.
Beyond your site, you will help shape the future of the Facilities organization by partnering with peers to develop enterprise programs, operating standards, performance metrics, and best practices that strengthen consistency, scalability, and operational excellence across Chewy's workplace portfolio.
Business Partnership & Workplace Strategy
  • Serve as the senior onsite Facilities leader, partnering with business leaders and Workplace Strategy to align workplace operations, occupancy, and workplace planning with evolving business priorities.
  • Leverage workplace, occupancy, operational, and financial data to identify trends, provide strategic recommendations, and continuously improve Team Member experience and workplace performance.
  • Build trusted partnerships across HR, Finance, Procurement, IT, EHS, Asset Protection, Workplace Strategy, and Corporate Real Estate to deliver integrated workplace solutions.
  • Exercise sound business judgment by balancing Team Member experience, operational reliability, financial stewardship, and business risk in workplace decisions.

Enterprise Leadership & Functional Excellence
  • Partner with Facilities leaders across the portfolio to design, standardize, and continuously improve enterprise-wide programs, operating standards, and business processes, leading initiatives where appropriate and supporting enterprise priorities across the organization.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to identify trends, share best practices, and improve consistency, scalability, and service delivery across the Facilities function.
  • Help establish enterprise operating rhythms, business reviews, performance metrics, reporting, and governance that improve visibility, accountability, and execution.
  • Foster a collaborative One Team culture by sharing expertise, developing peers, and contributing to the continued maturity of the Facilities organization.

Operational Excellence & Service Delivery
  • Own the safe, reliable, compliant, and day-to-day operational performance of the workplace.
  • Deliver exceptional workplace services through effective management of facility operations, maintenance programs, service providers, landlords, and business partners.
  • Establish service standards, vendor expectations, and operational KPIs that drive accountability and an exceptional Team Member experience.
  • Lead workplace improvements, moves, space optimization initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts that enhance operational effectiveness and workplace readiness.

Financial Stewardship & Capital Planning
  • Own operating and capital budgets, financial forecasting, and multi-year capital planning.
  • Develop business cases and prioritize investments that support operational excellence and long-term portfolio objectives.
  • Partner with Finance and Procurement to optimize contracts, maximize value, and ensure disciplined financial management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, optimize occupancy costs, prioritize capital investments, and reduce long-term operational risk.

People Leadership
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing onsite Facilities team while serving as a mentor and collaborative partner across the broader Facilities organization.
  • Create a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, customer obsession, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop future leaders through coaching, succession planning, and intentional capability building.

Risk, Safety & Business Continuity
  • Partner with EHS and Asset Protection to maintain a safe, compliant, and secure workplace.
  • Lead emergency preparedness, business continuity, and incident response planning.
  • Serve as the primary onsite escalation point for critical operational issues and executive support.
  • Communicate operational performance, workplace initiatives, and business risks to leaders through timely, clear, and data-informed communication.

What You'll Need:
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in Facilities Management, Workplace Operations, Property Management, or Corporate Real Estate.
  • Experience leading complex workplace operations, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional partnerships in a corporate environment.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, lead through ambiguity, and build trusted partnerships across business functions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

The base salary range for this role is $110,500 - $176,000.00.
  • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
