Core Responsibilities
Drive the development of store business cases including (new stores, relocations, refurbs and store closures) to secure funding and approval for owned & operated retail stores
Support the Director in strategic engagements from framing strategic problems through conducting analysis, driving to insights, and packaging findings to inspire change within the organization
Be the retail point of contact and drive alignment and collaboration of budgets and store recipe cards with key partners when preparing proposals for new stores.
Develop tools & processes to improve our processes and deliver efficiencies
Collaborate across multiple teams and functions to drive critical projects, strategy formulation and problem-solving
Conduct market and channel research to guide LEGO Retail expansion in the AMS
Develop and deliver presentations to audiences ranging from business line partners to senior executives

New store expansion and store portfolio growth are key components of our plan 2026 corporate strategy. You will be responsible for supporting the growth of LEGO Retail by driving store business cases and partnering with key functions such as retail operations, design, construction, real estate and finance to ensure a robust and coherent approach to market and channel expansion.
Do you have what it takes?
The successful candidate is ambitious, entrepreneurial, and commercially savvy and comes with strong experience gained in a FMCG/CPG company or top-tier management consulting company. Ideally, you have retail expansion experience in a similar role, in the FMCG/CPG industry.
It goes without saying that you also have:
Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills that allow you to extract logic, insights, and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems
Excellent communication skills, allowing you to structure documents and quantitative analysis as well as PowerPoint presentations for executive level communication
Experience in consumer packaged goods/ management consulting, plus additional experience of developing retail strategy with a focus on offline expansion.
Strong drive for ensuring data integrity
Ability to summarize abstract ideas clearly and independently manage project objectives
Understanding of global retail industry
Experience of LEGO retail programs and nuances of the channels preferred
Takes initiative, recognizes and acts on opportunities
Track record of cross-functional collaboration and ability to thrives and contribute best in a team setting
Some element of travel will be required, approx. 10%
Additional details on this position:
The salary for this position has a range of $100,900 - $151,300 USD based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
This position will be based at 1001 Boylston St. in Boston, MA. Our workplace enables our LEGO Group colleagues to be and do their best at work. Introducing a flexible way of working through a hybrid working model is a great example of how we live up to our ambition. This 3 day in the office hybrid working model will exemplify our People Promise by embracing the different life situations of our colleagues.
