Responsibilities:
The appointee will be responsible for organising HKTDC’s promotional programs and activities for the Film and Entertainment sectors, including:
Initiate entertainment-related event marketing plan; social media promotion and execute the marcom and publicity communication activities in local, mainland China, Asian and international markets for achieving the KPI targets;
Liaise with overseas offices, external and internal parties, including co-organiser, strategic partners, local and overseas trade/industry associations, to develop and implement consolidated marketing programmes and messages;
Identify and establish relevant partners of media and marketing channels, industry-specific KOL and social media worldwide for boosting the marketing impact for projects;
Manage photography and video productions, advertising campaigns and content marketing for film and entertainment sectors;
Conduct local and overseas marketing programmes, such as seminars and roadshows, etc, for generating business enquiries;
Provide on-site support and other administrative support as and when necessary;
Take up other ad hoc projects and tasks when necessary.
Requirements:
- A recognised university degree with at least 6 years’ working experience, preferably with sizable organisations in sales and marketing;
- Extensive experience in event marketing and social media promotion is a plus
- Self-motivated with good project management skills;
- A strong team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and good at attending to details;
- Innovative, flexible and able to deliver under time and resource pressure;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua;
- Strong inclination and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business arena;
- Knowledge of film and entertainment sectors and previous experience in organising marketing programmes and implementing marketing messages for content, exhibition and/or conference would be an added advantage.
Candidates with less solid experience will be offered at Assistant Manager, Entertainment Industry
Remuneration and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
