Architect, build, and oversee data integrations among Workday and disparate campus systems. Ensure high availability, security, performance, and routine maintenance of primary college information systems. Oversee system releases, upgrades, testing, configuration changes, incident response, and vendor support for the college's enterprise applications. Coordinate application security, access controls, backup and recovery practices, and continuity planning with the appropriate information security, infrastructure, and functional offices.
- Serve as a technical custodian for enterprise application data, partnering with functional data owners and institutional data stewards to promote data integrity, compliance, and security standards, including FERPA and GLBA. Partner and communicate effectively with other data managers, functional data stewards, and administrative offices to align technology solutions with operational needs. Lead technology change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during Workday releases, system upgrades, or process updates. Recommend application, integration, and data priorities to the Director of Infrastructure and Enterprise Applications and execute approved priorities.
- Lead IT projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, resources, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations. Analyze existing administrative workflows and design optimized business processes. Evaluate requests, balance team capacity, communicate priorities, and coordinate vendor relationships and support escalations.
- Manage and support the Database Analyst, Systems Analyst, and Systems Programmer Analyst, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and coaching. Assign and prioritize work, monitor progress, manage escalations, and establish clear service and project expectations. Support professional growth, documentation, cross-training, and succession coverage for critical applications, integrations, and databases.
