What you’ll do:

State Management plays an invaluable role in MSI’s success, with responsibilities including setting product strategy, managing P&L, and executing d2d operations. In support of these goals is a high-powered group of product managers and analysts. As the Enablement & Analytics Manager, you will manage our team of analysts, each of whom directly supports a P&L Leader. You’ll support the analysts in their development journeys and partner with P&L Leaders to ensure our capacity planning adequately covers their critical objectives.

Additionally, as MSI continues to grow and expand the product suite, scalability and efficiency are critical. With line-of-sight into the operations of each product, you’re uniquely positioned to surface and champion initiatives driving stepwise improvements in productivity. You’ll have a strong leadership voice in the product org and interface with each growth services team to effect change.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage ~10 product analysts spanning the portfolio of personal lines offerings
  • Provide coaching & development support for each analyst
  • Collaborate with P&L Leaders to ensure analyst objectives are calibrated to program goals and that LOB action plans contemplate team capacity planning
  • Champion the analyst voice at the product leadership table
  • Drive further consistency in standard team deliverables to facilitate ease & replicability
  • Identify areas to improve the delivery model to promote better scale and efficiencies
  • Partner with Process & Solutions team to build new processes & ensure consistent application in d2d delivery
  • Champion operational initiatives, especially where cross-product uniformity is critical
  • Create onboarding and training to support new colleague development, and help non-product colleagues to quickly orient to our product environment

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years P&C insurance expertise, strong familiarity in personal lines property product preferred
  • Servant leadership- experience managing others and desire to stay laser focused on enabling our analysts to grow
  • Technical proficiency- knowledge of or desire to learn the technical ins and outs of our analysts’ tooling. Roll-up-the-sleeves mentality to really understand how things work
  • Curiosity & energy- willing to challenge the status quo in search of more efficient processes
  • Clear communication & interpersonal skills- ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, at all levels of an organization. Builds inclusive & engaging environments
  • Structured, analytic thinking- comfortable breaking down bigger concepts into component parts; assess problems quantitatively and quickly translate findings into actions
  • Adaptability- comfortable in a fast-past, remote-first environment and culture

Location:

  • Remote, with access to local Baldwin Group offices as desired
  • Travel occasionally for internal and external meetings
