Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the BI & Analytics function, managing and mentoring a team of data analysts.
- Own the architecture, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of our enterprise data warehouse in Microsoft Fabric.
- Ingest, normalize, and maintain data pipelines from internal SaaS platforms such as HRIS, ATS, task/project management tools, and others.
- Define data models, metrics, and reporting standards that are scalable and aligned with business goals.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Apache Superset, Metabase, and Tableau.
- Partner with business stakeholders (e.g., HR, Recruiting, Operations) to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation best practices across all reporting platforms.
- Develop and evangelize self-service analytics capabilities for business teams.
- Evaluate and implement new BI tools and technologies to improve performance, usability, and scalability.
- Monitor analytics infrastructure health, resolve data-related issues, and continuously optimize for reliability and performance.
Skills
- Deep expertise in business intelligence, data modeling, and analytics platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern data warehouse architectures.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Apache Superset, and Metabase.
- Strong command of SQL, data transformation tools, and ETL best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into simple insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing analytics teams.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security best practices.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a builder mindset—able to define and drive structure in a greenfield environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data issues. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
- Proven experience in project management and delivery of data analytics projects
Experience and Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in BI and Analytics
- 3+ years in a leadership role managing a team of analysts or data professionals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
