We’re looking for a Manager, Corporate Affairs to lead the strategy, messaging, and engagement efforts that strengthen and protect ATC’s reputation. This is an opportunity for an experienced communications leader to influence executive decision-making, guide high-visibility communications, and help tell the story of an organization that plays a critical role in the energy future.

As Manager, Corporate Affairs, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and lead initiatives that shape how ATC is perceived by employees, customers, regulators, media, community leaders, and other key stakeholders.

•  Develop and execute corporate affairs strategies that align communications with business goals.

•  Influence executive messaging and organizational storytelling.

•  Strengthen ATC’s reputation with external audiences and community stakeholders.

•  Lead media relations and proactive brand visibility initiatives.

•  Advance corporate giving, sponsorships, and community investment programs.

•  Guide crisis communications planning and response efforts during critical business situations.

•  Lead and develop a talented team of communications professionals.

•  Demonstrate measurable business value through impactful communications programs.

•  Implement metrics and reporting that demonstrate communications effectiveness and organizational impact.


What You'll Bring

You are a strategic communicator who understands how strong relationships, thoughtful messaging, and proactive engagement influence organizational success.


•  7+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public affairs, public relations, corporate affairs, or strategic communications.

•  Experience advising senior executives on messaging, stakeholder engagement, and reputation management.

•  Demonstrated success leading enterprise-level communication strategies.

•  Media relations expertise and experience managing high-profile communications initiatives.

•  Experience leading communications teams and cross-functional projects.

•  Knowledge of crisis communications, issues management, and executive communications.

•  Experience overseeing corporate giving, sponsorships, community relations, or social impact programs.

•  Strong business acumen, including budget oversight and performance measurement.


Preferred experience: Utility, infrastructure, energy, government affairs, or another regulated industry is beneficial, but strong transferable communications leadership is also valued.

The targeted base pay for this position is $148,300 to $173,300 annually.*  Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more


*The pay range is a general guideline. Employment offers are evaluated individually and consider qualifications, experience, academic achievements, internal equity, and business needs.
