  • Develop Capabilities to drive conversion from Road to Rail, by innovation / Simplification and cost-effective End to End solutions


  • Work closely with sales to move mapped customers from qualifying to trading 

 

  • Identifying new customer base, Creating leads and Starting New business in the region and ensure that same is carried on by sales team with periodic review with select customers.


  • Stake holder Management to drive the policy and other regulatory changes for the assigned geographies with Railways / Ports / MIDC / Transport associations / Municipal Corporations / Shipping Lines

  • Keep a close watch on competition action in the marketplace and track, record competition volumes / actions in due compliance with governing competition norms and regulations 

  • Build capabilities to develop new revenue streams and products like Cross Country Rail, Mixed Trains, Tanks, DWARF and Specialized containers/ rakes. Or Design products and offerings which attract and drive Road to Rail conversion, Through Innovation / Simplified End to End solutions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES 

Skills Required

  • Experience in rail and inland terminal operations and deployment of rakes
  • Market mapping and route/corridor development expertise
  • Commercial control, P&L accountability, and cost optimization experience
  • Performance management, business forecasting, and SOP implementation
  • Budgeting and data-driven decision support skills
  • Business development experience identifying terminals (PFT, CGT) and new customer acquisition
  • Stakeholder management with ports, railways, regulators, and operators
  • Experience tracking multimodal cargo movement (rail, road, coastal, multimodal)
